Headhunters Has a Severe Lack of Wizard Hair

Episode 67: Putting a flat tire in our turn towards a feasible, acceptable format change, we watch a movie we don't like.

Headhunters is a Norweigian crime drama about a bunch of jerks doing dumb stuff for some reason. It's based on a novel by Jo Nesbo, which informs James' view of the movie and seeks only to cast further darkness onto Cruz's view. It's a bit of a mess all around and nobody is happy. Like Fargo, but crap.

Theme by Andy Kneis.

End song is "Norwegian Wood" by the Beatles.

I've been say "Put your Herbie Hancock here" when customers sign stuff for literally a year and a half before somebody finally acknowledged that I was making a joke. Thanks, that one guy from Community. You're my current favorite man.

Episode 67: In this episode the WGSG crew rap about Riki-Oh: The Story of Ricky, a movie so insane that they can't even decide what the main character's name is within the title.

I don't know if there's much to say about this insane high speed wreck of kung fu and bad sets. Maybe. . . maybe the only thing left to say is "You're welcome."

Theme by Andy Kneis.

End theme is "Ricky" by Weird Al Yankovic.

Protect ya neck.

Episode 66-- What have the boys gotten themselves into this time? After hearing about the legendary stash of a Caribbean witch doctor while on their uncle's private island, Cruz and James go on a crazy adventure full of brews, babes, and bodacious bongs! Will this be the best Spring Break ever!?

On this episode our heroes ramble. Don't worry. This is a short one. It'll be over before you know it.

Anyways, Cruz gets fingered in his butt.

Then we talk about olde timey racism.

Theme by Andy Kneis.

End theme is "The Air That I Breath" by The Hollies.

Episode 65-- The WGSG Boys' chakra is all out of whack! They're going to have to go on a wacky journey to find a crazy shaman who holds the secrets and maybe they'll also find. . . themselves?

But then we make fun of Call of Duty: Ghosts. I think? We made this episode a long time ago. We then go on about how most action heroes are probably secret racists.

Oh and a clown assassin.

Theme by Andy Kneis.

End theme is "Coney Island Baby" by Lou Reed.

Episode 63: Another episode, another semi-planned meditation on William Friedkin. I don't know how this keeps happening. Nor do I want to. That's what makes it magic.

We kind of talk about "Killer Joe." I don't know what else to tell you. This is another one of those down episodes. The last one was good, though, right? We're trying for more of that.

Edited by Cruz.

Theme by Andy Kneis.

End theme "Keep Your Hands to Yourself" by The Georgia Satellites.

EPISODE 61: We talk about The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp.

Oh, you want more?

Well, I got some news for you, buster: You don't.

You really don't.

It's perfect. Got see it.

Andy Kneis still made the theme song and he's great.

The end theme is. . . Friday the 13th part 3 by Harry Manfredini, I guess?

Episode 62: Cruz and I pitch our greatest ideas yet into the void.

For some reason I almost didn't upload this episode. That is how close the world came to being deprived of a movie about the incarnation of Mexico's vengeance stopping the Guerro Narcoticas. Or keeping it going. We're kind of hazy on that one.

Theme by Andy Kneis.

I'm going to need twenty dollars now and twenty dollars when it's done. And twenty dollars for expenses.

EPISODE 60: Fuck it. Here's the damn episode. It's about Scorsese. Basically.

I don't know that I like this episode. Oh well. Here we are. It's a work in progress.

EPISODE 59: We were watching "Judgement at Nuremberg" for some reason when this episode began. That'll put you in a weird head space.

Anyways, being alive is pretty terrible. I mean. . . it's so hot. So. . . So, hot. God. I think everything is melted or stuck to something else.

Is that how my Werner Herzog sounds? Jesus. Why didn't anybody tell me?

Eventually everybody gets bitten by a shark. It's a reality that haunts me.

I really wished we rapped about the great American-Shark War. That thing has legs. But it's too late now. It's gone. It's in the rearview mirror and it's dead and you just gotta keep driving because you got your whole life ahead of you and I'm not going to jail for no joke, it was just an accident, okay, be cool, be cool, man, it's just the rearview mirror and you're going to look down again and it's going to be gone and that's going to be that.

End song "Lost in a Supermarket" by The Clash.

Art from "Suspiria."

"The Bohemian Grove, that I attend from time to time—the Easterners and the others come there—but it is the most faggy goddamn thing you could ever imagine, that San Francisco crowd that goes in there; it's just terrible! I mean I won't shake hands with anybody from San Francisco." --Richard Nixon, the last, great American buffalo.
